A strong foundation in vocal technique can change not only the way we sing, but the way we express ourselves and how we project our voices in our everyday lives. At our most efficient vocal production, singing and speaking should feel easy, organic, and natural. Voice lessons help to build a strong fundamental technique so that the singer can release the burden of physical strain or manipulation and allow the voice to be free. Voice lessons with Natalie invite self-expression in all genres of music. In Natalie’s studio we strive for a sustainable, expressive, genre-diverse, and healthy technique in attempt to find our most authentic voice. Lessons involve direct and prevalent communication between teacher and student, some body and breath work, and exploration of vocal capabilities.

Holding a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance University of Kentucky, Master of Music Classical Voice and Adv Certificate Vocal Pedagogy New York University, Natalie is an expert on the anatomy and mechanics of the voice and is technical in her approach to vocal production. She holds a special certificate in Vocology ‘Care of the Singing Voice; also from NYU and is confident in her ability to coach students with voice disorders and/or are going through vocal rehabilitation.

Natalie teaches all voice types, ages, and styles of singing and believes that everyone is capable of learning to sing (even if you think you can’t hold a tune)!
